The FundiCard is like a debit card, but with various pockets to manage your spending on and off campus. The pockets ensure you do not overspend and still have money for textbooks, accommodation, food and study tools The card gives you access to funds that your funder has allocated to you. The funds in the card are split into different categories called pockets. These pockets are divided into books, food, accommodation, tuition etc. Each pocket has a set amount allocated by your funder. Example R1000 for food, R1200 for books, etc. The amount you have in your pocket is dependent on your funder. You can only use the funds in each pocket to buy things related to that pocket. You can use your FundiCard to pay at our Fundi Partner Merchant stores, look out for Fundi posters around campus.
